RESQTEC is a leading manufacturer in the rescue industry: We develop, manufacture and market high performance rescue solutions. Our major products consist of hydraulic and pneumatic rescue systems, from cutters, spreaders, rams to lifting bags. Products are primarily dedicated to extricate victims from entrapped positions, but not limited to. Through own R&D departments and manufacturing plants our products are used around the world by fire fighters, police, militaries and smart teams among others.

All products are similar in the way that they all are primarily meant to safe lives or protect citizens. Developing products we strive to always provide high performance and smart solutions, by making use of the latest technologies in materials and engineering.

The company was founded in 1972 by Mr. Maarschalk and still family owned and run by today. We believe that our positive atmosphere within the company makes us creative and enables innovation. Our services go further than just providing products, as products like these require professional training, service and support. RESQTEC has also won some major designing prices all over the world. For example the Red dot design award, IF product design award, Aluminum award and the gold “best of the best” red dot design award for our newest innovation, the ProfiX Max Strut.

Job Description 
The Marketing Manager is responsible for achieving the marketing objectives within the company. What does marketing mean for us? Making sales easy by fulfilling the needs of the customer as best as possible. Getting the word out to the market and supporting our dealers and sales managers in the most effective way. Management considers marketing as a vital part of the business strategy.

You will manage the introduction of new products, develop promotional activities, analyse sales strategy, new communication menthods and new ways to fullfil the needs of the market. There is a very pratical aspect as well as managing websites, newletters, sales presentations and other communication aspects. We are a dynamic, young by heart and ambitious small company. There will be ample situation where flexibility is vital. You will manage strategic, tactical and operational projects.

The person that will match with us will enjoy the challanges faced on marketing within the resque industry. Its not a typical BtoB market, a person with BtoC experience will be challanged. You will work closely with Sales dealer support and logically retain a close relationship with third agencies. Allthough we request an educational background, streetsmart, proactive mindset and analytical skills are the most important characteristics of the job. Gestelde eisen

The successful candidate is bilingual English (and preferable a German or French) and has ideally a degree in marketing or equivalent. He/she has developed his/her skills during at least 5 years of experience in Marketing and Sales in (preferable international) high tech innovative companies.
Furthermore:
- you have excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
- you are flexible minded, hands-on and proactive.
- you are result driven, ambitious and focused
- you are a team player with good project management skills
- you are creative, innovative and knows how to market new original ideas
